Introduction to Copperfield

This class will help you discover who we are and what we’re about as a church. In an informative and interactive manner, you will hear about Copperfield’s vision, values and beliefs. You’ll learn about how God has led in our past, our plans for the present and our vision for the future.

 Financial Peace University
Class begins: June 4th
Financial Peace University is a 13 week program that encourages positive behavior with accountability and support. Personal finance is 80% behavior and only 20% head knowledge.
- Teaches financial responsibility with easy 'baby steps'
- Helps eliminate debt using the Debt snowball method
- Offers accountability and continued support with life-time membership
- Trains participants to spend every dollar on paper with the zero-based budget planner
- Empowers people struggling with financial hardships by establishing a plan to take control of their finances.
Cost: $95.00 per family, includes workbook, Total Money Makeover book, set of 13 audio CD's and a designer envelope system.
Over 250,000 families have already benefited from this program. In Copperfield's last class, 25 families paid off debt totaling $124,263 and saved $38,485!

 Precept Upon Precept - Covenant
Class begins: June 4th
This 12 week in-depth Bible study is offered to both men and women. See the incredible thread running from Genesis through Revelation. God enters into a binding agreement with His people and always keeps His promises. Trusting Him as a covenant partner frees us from bondage of worry and anxiety.
This study will transform the way you read the scriptures!

| Service Opportunities - GIVE of Yourself in Ministry |
Calling all those interested in missions and outreach!
Do you want to participate in a mission, impact the local Houston community, minister to those who don’t have a relationship with Christ, or make a difference in the lives of over 200 at-risk-youth?
If you answered yes to any of these, we have a mission opportunity for you! On Saturday May 17, Copperfield Church will help host a Community Block Party at the Sterling Grove Apartment Complex in the Acres Homes area. We need volunteers to help serve food, manage moonwalks and kids games, join prayer teams and conduct community surveys.
You can also help by donating individually wrapped candy, small gift trinkets and toys and baked goods for a cake walk. We will have a box in the Atrium for candy and trinkets. For the baked goods, please drop them off at the church on Friday, May 16th.

Single Mom’s Flip-Flop Friday!
Friday, May 16, 7:00 – 10:00 pm

Centrifuge – Life changing camps - Sign ups are available NOW in the youth room, in the church office and online at http://studentrefinery.blogspot.com
This year our high School students will be attending Centrifuge at Glorieta, NM. The dates for camp are June 22-28, 2008.
A sign up form and a deposit of $100 will reserve your spot, with nothing else to pay until June 1.
